VFW Auxiliary Plans Buddy Poppy Sale A regular meeting of the VFW Auxiliary was held on May 11. Plans are underway for the Buddy Peppy sale to be held on May 28-39. After dessert luncneon the play proved exciting with Agnes Gibson holding a round robin. The low prize went to Mrs. Wantland and high prize to Mrs. Thurman DeHart. On Tuesday evening the Brunsmans attended Minerva Chapter in the St. Johns district. Last Saturday Mrs. Brunsman and Mrs. Gordon attended the luncheon and meeting of the Portland and vicinity matrons which was given by Mr. and Mrs. Howard Belton and Mrs. W L. McKinley at the Belton home at Canby. Also attending luncheons in Portland Saturday were Mrs. Walter Linn who attended the luncheon for the 1952 matrons a: the home of Mrs. Pearl Bugher. ! and Mrs. Thomas Tomlin who at- | tended the associate matron's luncheon at the Aero club.
