Let's Be Sociable Altar Society Ladies Talk Fund Raising Twelve ladies attended the meet ing of the Altar Society Wednes day afternoon at the home of Mrs. J. A. Wirtz in Riverview. A food sale and other fund rais ing diversions were planned with a full set of sales ladies and com mittees for other activities being readily found among those pre sent. Three new names, Mrs. Dale Bartlett, Mrs. R. Kono and Mrs. Dessy Laird were added to the membership list. A beautiful pair of pillow cases was donated to be used with the tickets now on sale. The hostess was assisted by Mrs. Joe VanderZanden and Mrs. Alois Sauer in serving lunch. Mrs. Kenneth Anderson will be hostess to the society in November. • Progressive Dinner Honors Church Couple Saturday Rev. and Mrs. H. L. Russell were invited to a 6 o'clock dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Foster Wanamaker. Upon their arrival they found a large group of young people waiting to help them enjoy the evening.
