Mrs. Edith Riggle of Buxton visited Sat. until Mon. at the Elmo Tailman home with her granddaughter and first great granddaughter from Walla Walla. Mrs. Lorraine Tailman and ba by, Donna Lorraine, left Mon. for their home in Walla Walla after having spent a week at the B. Tallman home. They were ac companied to Portland by Mrs. Edith Riggle and Mrs. B. Tail man, and were met by Mrs. Tail man’s mother Mrs. Nellie Page. Jack Klein, army man station ed in La. and Mrs. Klein from Texas arrived Mon. They will visit Mr. Klein’s mother and hus band Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Tolson. Do you ever wonder what to serve for des sert? Simmons was wounded June 5 in action on Biak Island. Mr. and Mrs. Lance Brown at tended the funeral of her nephew Byron Townsend, 2V4, Portland, who drowned in Zig Zag river last Sun. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Warner ot Portland and Mrs. Fred Bonnell and three children of Paulsbo, Wn. were week end visitors at the. C. P. Bcnnell home. Zqna Lee Bonnell visited re cently with Anna Marquez in Portland. Several Keasey Homes Opened to Visitors During Past Few Days KEASEY — Mrs. Geo. Brown and Mr. Westman visited at the Albert Krieger home Tues. Dale Johnson and Everett Rust visited at the Robert Hodg son home this week. They are school friends of J. P. Hodgson and are from Hillsboro. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Krieger and children and Mrs. Clarence Reed and Kenneth and Joan Lindsley visited at the Robert Hodgson home Sat., eve. Mr. and Mrs. Pye are spending a few days at the Clarence Reed home. Mr. Pye is Mr. Reed’s cousin. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Lund and daughter, Reatha Jane, and Marie Christenson and Mrs. W. B.
