Phillips and small daughter, Shirley, of Hood River were Sun day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Nissen. Mr. Phil lips will be remembered as manager cf the Safeway store in Vernonia several years ago. ' Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cota were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Smith at Idanha. Mrs. Elbert Kelly of Monmouth was a visitor Monday at the Frank O’Connor home. Buddy Kelly who has been visiting his aunt, Mrs. O’Connor, returned home with his mother. Jimmy Beaver is visiting for a time with his aunt, Mrs. Kelly. Mrs. Harry Wilson and sons, Jimmie and Donnie, and Edwin Treharne of Seaside were Sunday visitors at the O’Connor home. Ruby O’Connor returned with them to Seaside for a visit. Myrtle Webb of Glenwood is visiting Delores Bergstrom this week. Week-end guests at the Otto Michener home were Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Wooldridge of Portland and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Taylor of Camp McGregor. Mrs. Michener and Mar garet and Mr. and Mrs. Taylor drove the Wooldridges back to Portland. Mr. and Mrs. William Falconer and children were Sunday visitors at the beaches. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Holt were called to Forest Grove Tuesday night where Mrs. Hult’s sister is quite ill. Fred Shoemaker of St. Helens was a visitor of Robert Falconer Saturday. Jean McDonald accompanied the Bert Tisdale family to Seaside last Sunday. M t . and Mrs. Bill Smejkai have moved back to their home in Tre- hame after living a year at Idanha. Mr. and Mrs. Hulan Thacker and family spent from Wednesday until Saturday at Hammond beach. Bunny Cota and William Smejkai are attending Bible school at the Catholic church this week. Mrs. Midred Hult and Mrs. Ruth Huit were seen working in the hay fields a few days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smith were in Portland Sunday and Monday for their infant son, Gary, to re ceive medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Siebert moved into one of the Harry Wil son houses Sunday.
