She was brought home Monday and with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clif ford Smith, and Mrs. Ora Smith, visited in this neighborhood Mon day afternoon. Frank Scharback who was in jured last January while working at the O. A. camp is able to be out of the hospital for a few days at a time but must return to the hospital for treatments. Mrs. Frances Moraveck arrived from Wilson, Kansas, last week to visit her daughter, Mrs. Nelson Moeller and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Tisdale and family motored to Devils Lake Sun day to attend the Regatta. Mr. and Mrs. Garland Seger, Mrs. Murrell Peterson and Mrs. Floyd Thomas motored to Portland Sunday to meet Mr. Thomas, he having returned from his mother’s funeral at Lansfoord, North Dak- ota. Mr. and Mrs. George Ortman and Harold of Forest Grove were Thursday evening dinner guests at the Carl Anderson home. Harold Schram of Vancouver, Washington, visited his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Schram, last Wednesday evening. The quilting club enjoyed a pic- nic by the river Thursday. 'Mrs. Claude Tackett, who has been visiting some time with her aunt in Portland, returned home Saturday. Mrs. Elizabeth Mullins accom panied Mr. and Mrs. Al Baches to Portland Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Alois Sauer and children and Mrs. Murrell Peter son and children were Forest Grove visitors on Friday. Mrs. Wilbur Thacker and daugh ter, Mildred, spent two weeks at Idanha with Hulan and Wilbur, re turning Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Pickens and children spent the week-end with Mr. Picken’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pickens, at Brooks, Oregon.
