Ore. 21tl S P O RTS O-A to Play Wolf Creek Ground Rules Drafted Managers Decided Regu lations for Play on Grade School Field Managers of the five Vernonia softball teams Monday evening drafted ground rules of play for the Washington grade school field due to the rise of several disputes revolving around the ditch cutting through the outfield. Rules drafted at that meeting were as follows. Game must start by 6:30, not later. Any fair-hit ball across the ditch and between the two stakes entitles runner to as many bases as he can get. Any ball that lands or rolls into the ditch between said stakes en titles runner to two bases, provid ing it is not touched by fieller. If touched by fielder, runner is entitl. ed to all bases he can get. Any ball hit to right of said stake base runner is entitled to all bases he can get. Classified Ads............
