Soule Friday afternoon a party was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. A. Malm- sten, where she lives. The affair was a surprise arranged by Mrs. L. A. Rogers assisted by Mrs. Walter Kent. HELENS The 13th annual convention of the Rebekahs of District No. 5, was held in St. Helens, Nov 12th with Mrs. Irene Smith of St. Helens as chairman, and Mrs. Grace Christiansen, Pres, of the Rebekah Assembly of Oregon as guest of honor. The four lodges of the dis trict were represented and took part in the school of instruction conducted by Mrs. Christiansen.
