The Lindsleys had a family reunion and picnic on the creek. Mr. and Mrs. Luth er enjoyed a picnic with a num ber of friends from Hillsboro. The DeVaney and Evers iamilies held their picnic under the trees at Keasey, and a community pic nic gathered at the power plant and had their lunch in Grandpa Oomstock’s new picnic ground. Geo. Comstock, operator of the power plant at Keasey, was a Vernonia shopper Saturday. The power at the plant is shut off from 7 a. m. to 6 p. m., giving the Comstocks an opportunity to be away during the day. Lloyd Cummings returned to the CCC camp at Westimber Sun day evening after a five day Fourth of July vacation.
