Grant Lynch, fruit inspector
Columbia county, stated yesterday
that in his opinion the recent frost
had not materially damaged the
fruit crop in the county. He said
that in some sections he had re
ceived reports that the more ad
vanced walnut trees had been hurt
to some extent, but that the bulk
of the trees had not advanced far
enough for the frosts to seriously
hurt them.
