Economical Shampoo- Do not thow away bits of toilet soap. Keep a jar to put them in. Make bags of fine cheesecloh four by six inches. Fill with bran, a few bits of the soap, and, if you have it, a pinch or two of orris. Tie th« bags at the top; do not fill them full as the bran swells in the water. Oatmeal may be used as well as Removing Shine From Serge. Ounce of lump ammonia and half ounce white castile soap, put both in jug and pour over them one pint boiling water until they are dissolv ed. Kiger, sub mitted their annual reports for the year 1921, to the Board of Directors of the city library, at the last meet ing of the Board held January IS, 1922. The board verified the report of the librarian, and audited the re port of the treasurer. The board published Its report Monday. I Report of the Librarian: The circulation of the City Libra ry for the year 1921 was more than double that of 1920- The largest daily circulation was 134 volumes. Largest monthly circulation 1338 volumes. Total circulation for ths year was 12.50® volumes.’ There were 395 new books added to the library during the year. 7® of which were donations.
