Report of Tillamook Cow Testing Association for April. Five hundred and ninety-one cows were tested this month, producing on an average of 865 tbs. milk and 35-65 lbs. fat per cow. The three high herds are owned by Joe Durrer, with 26 cows averaging 1219 tbs. milk and 48.64 tbs. fat; Mrs. Thcrese Ross, 5 cows averaging 1084 lbs. milk and 48.33 tbs. fat; L. A. McCormack, 5 cows averaging 728 tbs. milk and Owner and name of cow 46.33 tbs. fat. Carl Posetti had the high pure bred cow, a Jersey, Victoria of Mistletoe, making 939tbs. milk and 67.26 lbs. butter fat, while Geo. Father Sander was born in Moberly, Mo., and came to Tilla- mock when but a year and a half old. His childhood days were spent in and around Tillamook. St. Alphonsus Academy bears the honor of having been the instructor of his primary ed ucation. His college course, as well as his philosophical studies, were made at Mt. Angel College. His priestly education was obta'ned at St. Patrick’s Seminary,, Menlo Park, Calif.
