On Saturday night at 9 o’clock while
Mrs. Robert Waymire was standing
by a stove her dress caught fire and
before anything could be done to save
her she was all aflame. Mr. Waymire
did his best to put out the flames with
his hands and in doing so was badly
burned. Mrs. Waymire was horribly
burned and suffered greatly all night
dying at 9 o'clock Sunday morning.
Her funeral was held at Cloverdale
on Monday. Deceased was 35 years
old and leaves three little children.
Mr. Wavmire was so badly burned
that it was found necessary to bring
him to the Boal's hospital for treat
ment.
