During the quarter ending June 3.0, 1915. the State Engineer issued 196 permits to appropriate water, includ ing 9 for storage of water in reser voirs. While most of the permits is sued during the quarter cover small developments the estimated cost of all developments aggregate $734,000 involving the construction of 248 miles of canal lines, for the irrigation of 21,146 acres of land and the devel opment of 4,254 horsepower. George Watt, of Portland, secured a permit to appropriate water for the irrigation of 20 acres of land, including domestic supply, diverting water from Cedar Creek in Sec. 8, T. 1 N. R. 10 W. Mrs. J.
