Your secretary calls attention to the
old arrears of dues collected from
members past due May 1st of $¡60.35;
also to the old debts of club due May
1st, when I took the office, paid dur
ing past 4 months, of $358.45. And
that all current rent and other ex-
penses have been paid up to date in
addition to paying the old debts of
club.
There has been mailed from the
Secretary’s office over 3000 booklets,
circulars and many personal letters
to citizens from various states, Cana
da, Haiwaiian and Phillipinc Islands,
and the old countries, who are en
quiring of the Oregon country. There
has been sold through the club some
500 small, $1.00 cheese especially ad
vertising our great cheese industry.
The club has gained much publicity
for Tillamook by its entertainment
of visitors, The G. A. R, The Artisans
The State Cheese and Dairy Associa
tion and many distinguished private
guests and has secured the State
Grand Lodge of Red Men for 1915
and is after others; The club has
spent time and money giving public
ity to our great ocean beaches, the
best patronized in Oregon. These
bring people and money into Tilla
mook City and County, and every
business man and citizen directly or
indirectly obtains some profit there
from.
Not a officer is paid a cent of sal
ary. Pres. Dwight, Treasurer, F. C.
Baker, all officers, and the Board are
giving valuable time to the Club.
They deserve credit and thanks of all
good citizens. The club was able to
carry out the cheese proposition by
the following progressive citizens ad
vancing the money to buy the cheese,
E. 1. Haltom, Geo. Kiger, W. G.
Dwight, C. I. Clough, M. F. Leach
Geo. Henderson.
