of April, 1913, (the date on which said
taxes became delinquent on said above
described real property) the Tax Col
lector of Tillamook County, Oregon, is
authorized, upon demand of any person
making (application therefor and the
payment of the taxes, penalty, interest
and cost of advertising, to issue to
them a certificate of delinquency as

Inspects Quarries.
Major Morrow came in on Thurs
day,.and with Captain Job--. Groat
they inspected the Watt, Bew.ey
and Garibaldi quarries with the
idea of obtaining the rock for the
jetty from one of these places, We
understand that Major M<” tow l'..>s
an option as to the royalty to be
paid for the rock. He left for Pen:
land next morning.
Obituary Notice.
A. P. Spaulding was born Aug
4th, 1851, at Eddyville, Iowa. In
1852 lie crossed the plains in »u
emigrant train with hie parents.
They lived in Port'.and till 185",
when they returned to Eddyville
and in 1871 came back to Skamo*
kawa, Wash. In 1883 he married
Edna McAlbany, Kerkuk, low».
He came to Tillamook county in
1901.
Died August 4. 1913, at the age
of 62.
Leaves a wife and two daughte s.
Grace and Ella, to mourn their loss.
The funeral services were held at
Beaver, August 6, at ten o'clock,
and were conducted by the Rev.
Dora Young.

Arrangements are being made
to erect a church building to cost
about $400 on a lot which wdi be
donated by the Rockaway Beach
Company at that place. The Pres
bytery of Portland will take up the
matter of constructing the but; bng

property till such a time as a per
manent church is organized there.
The Rockaway Sunday school is
well attended, the Bible cl.' is hav

in attendance last Sunday evening.
