that licenses are not prohibited to issue

age, but they are not required to pay
for the same.
Therefore, construing
the section as a whole, that persons who
hunt or fish must have and carry with
them licenses, and that only males
above fifteen years of age are required to
pay for fishing licenses, it is my conclu.
sion that males under fitecn years of
age and females are required to have
licenses, and that county clerks are re
qiiired to issue them upon proper appli
cation and affidavit, without fee.

The city council, at its last meeting,
adopted a new liquor ordinance, and
the same was signed by the Mayor

scriptions for only half a pint of liquor,
and write only one liquor prescription
for the same person in one day. Also,
in writing such prescriptions physicians
must state what disease the "patient*"
are afflicted with. Another provision
prohibits the sale of near bear in this
city’except when prescribed by a physi
