and went in, and after rolling out a bar­
rel, they closed the door. They took the
barrel to the lumber company’s wharf
aud broke it open. It contained 72 bot­
tles of whiskey, and vzas consigned to
Earl Ford, who had b^en employed at
Stephens’ pool room. Thev divided up
the whiskey, and then scattered, some
of then) hiding the bottles under the «ide
walks. On Saturday Sheriff Crenshaw
rounded them up, and when arraigned
on a charge of burglary, Eberman and
Foster pleaded guilty and were bound
oyer in $1000 each to the circuit court,
while Long demanded a heating, which
was held on Monday, when he w»is also
bound oyer in a like sum by Justice ol
the Peace A. T. White. This he furnish­
ed, also Eberman. but Foster is locked
ap in the county jail. Loll is also impli­
cated in the burglary at Jenkins’ store.
