torials in the paper you write for ? And
we wonJer how the Sage of Hemlock
would feel if be was running a news
paper, had no control of the editorial
columns, and had to father th* editorials
written bv a bevy of *'sp*cial interests’’
editors, each one with a big ax to grind
politically and otherwise ? Oh, yes, we
have editorial writers aglore in this city
now they have control of the honking
machine's plant, and by men who have
uot the courage, nor the manhood, nor
the honesty to sign their names to what
they write as long as they can get a lot
of foolish little puppets to do their dirty
work. Would you like to know, Bro.
Turner, the names and the object each of

view in getting control of the paper ? It
is certainly interesting, and not to the
interest of the county and city.
