be careful what they do at the meeting

get into public office to commence the
process of grooming themselves, but it
is well to give them a bit of advice if the
political lightning does rot strike them
at the primary election, not to turn them
selves into political mules, knocking the
party because they were not popular or

road to Bayocean Park, the Potter Uba
pin Realty Company would do well to
announce to what «mount it would give
towards it. A road to the park will be
a necessity, and with a beautiful drive
around the bay it will greatly enhance

more popular. Money talks. It is up to
the p/omoters to help out and get the
work started as soon as possible.

that they burn out so often, depriving
the city of street lights ? 1 here is some
thing wrong somewhere, for there is uo
sense tn paving lor street lights when
some of them are out most of the time,
and if it is the globes, which have been a
source of large expense to the city tor a
number of years, tor a matter ol economy
ami public convenience, this need* to be
investigated by the city officials, for it
would surprise a good many persons if
the amount was totaled up that was
paid ont fur globes the last five or six
years.

the above entitled case on or before the ex-
Siration of six weeks from the date of the
rst publication of this summons, and if you
fail so to appear and answer tor want
thereof, plaintiff will apply to said Court for
the relief demanded in the complaint herein.
The relief demanded is the recovery of a
Judgment against you tor the sum of
$3,902.05, being balance due for lumber
sold and delivered to you by plaintiff at Till
amook County. Oregon, on or about March
26th, 1907, in the sum of $1,331 57 and th«
further sum of $2,570.4« for lumber sold and
delivered to you by plaintiff at Tillamook
County, Oregon, on or about July ‘Jth,
1907, all at the special instance and request
of the said W’. J. W’oodside, and that all of
your right, title and interest in and to the
said Schooner San Buena Ventura, and the
cargo of lumber now thereon consisting of
about two hundred thousand feet of mer*
chantable lumber, and which have been
attained in said cause by virtue of a writ of
attachment duly issued therein, and ssid
attachment having been made by the Sheriff
of Tillamook Countv, Oregon, be sold fot
the purpose of satisfying any judgment
which the plaintiff may recover against foil
in said cause.
