Clarence Coulson, of Odebolt. Iowa,

better here than in the valley.

Francisco, Cal., a few days ago, where
he had been with his son, Marion, who
has enlisted on the training ship Pensa
cola as an apprentice and is attending
the Military school on Goat Island in
San Francisco Bav. The training ship
has over 500 bovs aboard, who are
studping for the Navv.
James Kodad, ol Kilclies, was on the

Meares Light-house helping put in the
water pipe. They are putting in 1400
