We have received an important communication from Mr. D. W. Campbell, assistant superintendent of the Oregon Railway & Navigation Company, which may be the means of giving Tilla mook County an electric railroad. The letter explains itself and is as follows : Tekoa, Washington, Dec. 5th, 1903. Dear Sir,—Mr. C. P. Lindsley, whose address is 426 Peyton Block, Spokane, Washington, is looking for information concern ! ing your locality with a view of taking up some matters pertain ing to an electric railway. This gentleman has been instrumen tal in projecting a similar scheme in Idaho, and is in search of such information as he can get regarding your territory. Can you furnish him ruch data as will justify him making a trip to Tilla mook with such an end in view ? Personally I have no interests in the matter, but explained to him a tew days ago on the train I thought a pretty good aocount of the resources of the country could be had from you as I recollect seeing in one of your papers published about two years ago a full account of the country and its resources, and stated to him I would request this from yon to be sent to him direct. He expects to go to Portland in a week or ten days with the ultimate object of making a trip to Tillamook. You might address him direct at Spokane. Yours truly, D. W. C ampbell .
