Carr,of Montesano, Wash., came in last week to look at a timber claim back of Harris’ on the Wilson river. They telephoned down for a tim bercruiser and W. Ricfenburg, of Bay City, was on his wav up there, when Dr. Salisbury met with an accident. On Saturday evening they took a stroll from their camp to look at the timber, when darkness overtook them. They were making their way back in the darkness and were only a few hundred yards away when Dr. Salisbury slipped down a bank 4-0 feet, which was almost perpendicular, where he remained all night in talking distance with Mr. Carr, but both unable to move for tear of meeting a worse fate. About three o’clock the next morning the break of dawn showed them where they were. Dr. Carr went to Dr. Salisbury’s assistance and found he had broken the small bones of the right foot and was some what bruised up.
