BOULDER CREEK
There are rather dull times on Boulder
Creek, the most exciting events being the
deaths of a number of fat hogs.
Mr. John Creecv, the fruit tree agent,
was calling on Boulderites last week.

daughter, Leona, have been visiting at
C. A. Smith’s for a tew days.
Mrs. H. L. Jensen, with her children,
visited Grandpa Jenson at Three Rivers
last week.
Messrs. Chas. C. and Dudley Getchell,
of Cedarvale, came up to visit their sis
ter, Mrs. Chopard last week.
Mr Jas. Hughey, of Fairview, was at
his Nestucca ranch, last week.
We are sorry to state that little Llovd
Bradv is seriously ill at the present writ
ing. also Mr. Lucas’ family are sick. The
complaint is not familiar to the people,
but resembles diphtheria. The daughter
of C. A. Smith had an attack of it about
two weeks ago.
H. A. Chopard is having his fall plow
ing done, H. L. Jensen being the plow
man.
News is scarce and time flies, so we
must lay down our pencil and take up
the broom and dust pan.
P.S.—Gus Chopard would lie very
much pleased if the parties who shot one
of his sheep and hid it in a brush pile,
would keep off his place with their guns
in the future. Chasing sheep with dogs
may be good sport for some people, but
the sheep don’t like it ami the owner
objects most strongly, ami some dogs
may get hurt if they are caught at such
work again, also their owners are liable
to get themselves into trouble, if they
don’t look out. “ A word to the wise.’’
