Trowbridge died suddenly at the residence of his sister, Mrs. B. H. Hathaway, in this city on Saturday, no doubt from the effect of the stage acci dent on the mountain on the 4th July, when his arm was broken and his brother was killed. He had remained at Trask house until Thursday, when he was brought to this city. He was on the street Saturday morning, and returning to Mr. Hathaway’s was taken with chills and died at noon. The body was taken out the same evening for Dayton, where it was to be burled. Articles of incorporation were filed with the County Clerk on Monday in corporating the Wilson River Road Co., its purpose being to construct and main tain plank and clay roads on w hat is known as the Wilson River toll road, at a point at Besler’s ford in this county to Gales Creek in Washington County, and to charge, collect, and receive tolls as by law provided. This corporation also proposes to engage in the construction, owning and operating of a railroad from the city of Tillamook to Forest Grove. The incorporators are Oak Nolan, Geo. W. Kiger and G. O. Nolan, the capital stock being $1000. State Superintendent J. II. Ackerman, who was on the program to take part in the teachers’ institute and lecture in t this city, was unable to attend.
