Below will be found the continuation
of the board of county commissioners'
proceedings which was held lust week ;
The tax levy for the year 1901 was
continued.
Claims for bridge work were nllowed
asfollows :

It appearing to the court that County
Judge Sappington had funds in his pos-
lion collected from the sale of lumlier at
the county saw mill, it was ordered that
he pay the above claims
In the matter of the taxes upon certain
lands belonging to the estate of W. S.
Runyon deceased, it was ordered that
$2,600 be accepted in full satisfaction
and compromise of all taxes and penal­
ties against said lauds, and the clerk
was directed to issue tax redemption cer­
tificates upou payment to him of the
sum of $1,588.58, balance remaining.
The petition of A. Bencheidt fora coun
tv road was taken up and the road was
ordered opened. Claims of Peter Luthi
and James F. Tomlinson for damages
were considered, and on the recommen­
dation of the viewers of damages the
court allowed Peter Luthi $25, but did
not consider the lands of James F. Tom­
linson would be rendered less valuable by
reason of the location of said road.
Petition of Fred Beals fora duplicate
county warrant, No. 3709, for the sum of
$111, was ordered drawn, owing to the
original warrant being lost.
