Last ueek a large cougar visited the
farm of Mr C. F. Murphy of Sand Lake
and killed a sheep. The cougar was a
large one, the track measuring nearly
four inches
Mr Murphy poisoned the
sheep the next day, and the next night
the cougar devoured a portion of the
sheep. Mr. Murphy tracked the ani
mal several miles but could not find him.
