journey, we arrived at that quaint old
city of Mexico. In passing out of the
valley we noticed the natives plowing,
seeding and havesting, all within a ra
dius of a few miles. At Orizaba we saw
the first coffee, and the trees weie bend
ing under their load of fruit.
We stopped in Vera Cruz two days
waiting for a boat.
It is n filthy city,
and we amused ourselves watching the
buzzards lighting for the offal.
