I hope you will take the time
to familiarize yourself with this
new way of delivering medical
care. For far too long, people
who are without health care op-
tions have resorted to our
emergency rooms for what
could be handled much more
efficiently and inexpensively in
a clinical setting. Come, find
out about this new way of doing
business – you can help
spread the word!
Finally, I will be holding the
third and last in my series of
town halls on October 19th and
20th. The topic will be Educa-
Letters
tion, New Perspectives. Our
educational system was com-
pletely reorganized during the
2011 Session with everything
from kindergarten through
post-secondary education now
functioning under one board.
How is this working? How do
our local school districts view
these changes? What does it
mean for our children?
This final series will be ad-
vertised in our local papers, so
keep an eye out for this infor-
mation. I am not able to send
another newsletter until after
the election on November 6th.
We are entering what we refer
to as a “black out” period for
elected officials running for
public office. We are prevented
from sending official state
newsletters during this time.
This time I’ll have to depend
upon the Fourth Estate and
you!

do the meetings provide a
chance to meet new friends,
the club provides a mutually
supportive and positive learn-
ing environment in which every
individual member has the op-
portunity to develop oral com-

skills, which in turn foster self

and
personal
growth..

Some
people’s
idea of [free
speech] is
that they
are free to
say what
they like,
but if
anyone says
anything
back, that
is an
outrage.
