For far too long, people who are without health care op- tions have resorted to our emergency rooms for what could be handled much more efficiently and inexpensively in a clinical setting. Come, find out about this new way of doing business – you can help spread the word! Finally, I will be holding the third and last in my series of town halls on October 19th and 20th. The topic will be Educa- Letters tion, New Perspectives. Our educational system was com- pletely reorganized during the 2011 Session with everything from kindergarten through post-secondary education now functioning under one board. How is this working? How do our local school districts view these changes? What does it mean for our children? This final series will be ad- vertised in our local papers, so keep an eye out for this infor- mation. I am not able to send another newsletter until after the election on November 6th. We are entering what we refer to as a “black out” period for elected officials running for public office. We are prevented from sending official state newsletters during this time. This time I’ll have to depend upon the Fourth Estate and you!
