RUSSELL EUGENE TAYLOR Russell Eugene Taylor, 90, Forest Grove, died May 20, 2011. Mr. Taylor was born Decem- ber 6, 1920, in Lexington, Ne- braska, to George H. and Grace D. Taylor. He was raised Russell E. Taylor in Nebraska, graduating from North Platte High School in Jeffrey & Kathryn Hoyt, Gregory & Rachel Hoyt, Ross Mathews, Jane Schneider, Dan Raney, Stephanie Kachmarek, 1939. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. In 1941, he married Nevah B. “Stevie”. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war, they made their home in Cardiff-by-the- Sea, California, before moving to Forks, Washington. In 1995, they returned to North Platte, Neb., before moving to Vernon- ia in 2003. He worked as a pip- efitter. He enjoyed ballroom danc- ing and cribbage.
