July 16 – Theft/Criminal Mis- chief on 1st Ave., American flag cut in two. – Criminal Mischief to vehicle at R&R Motors after tires were rolled down the hill and stuck the vehicle. – Criminal Mischief on Cougar St., vehicle scratched. July 18 – Disturbance near Grant Ave. and North St., Kolton Graham, 21, Vernonia, brandished a gun then later died of self-inflict- ed gunshot wound on Washington Ave.; incident investigated by Co- lumbia Major Crime Team headed by OSP. July 20 – Ricky Bartholomew, 37, Vernonia, arrested for Burglary and Theft at D.A.D.s Recycling; taken to CCSO jail. July 21 – Assisted CCSO with death investigation on Bridge St. – Theft of a bicycle from Califor- nia Ave.; frame later found in the area stripped of parts.
