So much so that we ran out of food and had to shut ‘er down as they were still streaming in. Bill James did an excellent job of chairman as did his Ridge Rider crew in the kitchen – Valerie Mack, Jeri Cropp, Christine McCord, Jo Moccar- dine, Sasha Mack – along with seniors Pauline Coffman, Lou- ise Hamnett, Faith Reynolds, Carl Holsey, and George and Gladys Gans. And, special thanks to Romanna Manusos, who not only brought and deco- rated all the tables with flowers, but was also my advertising partner out on the street. Thank you, Allen Russell, for supply- ing my bubble machine with batteries for 10 hours! P.S. Any left out names that come to our attention will be credited next time! Thanks to all from Bill James. The Center wishes to thank Dana Lee Enterprises for mak- ing kitchen cabinets and putting in a new stainless steel sink with faucets. Your services are very much appreciated! CEPA Expo will be at County Fair again The annual CEPA (Colum- bia Emergency Planning Asso- ciation) Expo will be held July 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Columbia County Fair. Proceeds to Skate Park Vernonia Cares Food Bank is planning their annual BBQ chicken meal fundraiser for Saturday, July 28, from 11:00 a.m. until the food runs out. The location is the Senior Cen- ter. The menu will include a quarter chicken, potato salad, corn on the cob, roll, cookie and beverage at a cost of $8 per meal.
