The INDEPENDENT, December 2, 2004 Page 5 Business Notes The Clever Cricket will please you, and your children’s imagination The Clever Cricket, a store with new, used, and handmade items for children and their fam- ilies, will hold its Grand Open- ing this Saturday, December 4, starting at 9:00 a.m. Camrin Eyrrick The owner, Camrin Eyrrick, is very excited about filling a need in Vernonia, “I know that there is a need for children’s items in Vernonia. I look for- ward to being able to meet new people, to provide educational toys for kids, plus being able to offer resources (such as a par- enting library) for the communi- ty,” said Eyrrick. This store started as an idea about four years ago, but Eyrrick recently did research to make the idea a reality. The name came during the original idea phase when she was look- ing for a name that fit her focus on learning (the ‘clever’ part). Clothes, books, games, imagination powered and learn- ing toys, videos, resource books, anything and everything to do with family and children will be offered at the Clever Cricket. Eyrrick lives in Vernonia with husband Brandon, seven year- old Jacob and four year-old Kaitlyn, plus the family dog.
