Now in its third season, the Vernonia Soccer Club will be signing up youth, ages five to 13 years, on Tuesdays begin- ning May 25, at the Vernonia Public Library from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Additional sign up dates will be June 1 and June 8, also at the library, 5:30-7:00 p.m. Sign-up forms may be picked up or dropped off at the library and at Spiralz, 712 Bridge Street. The fee for the season will be $50 for the first player, and $45 for each additional child in a family. Fees include uniforms, registration with Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA), in- You wheel. We’ll deal. 0 6.9 Register May 25 or June 8 for Youth Wrestling Clinic Registration for the Vernonia Youth Wrestling Clinic will be May 25 and June 8, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the Vernonia Public Library. The Wrestling Clinic is for children from kindergarten through eighth grades. The cost will be $40.00 per child. Any proceeds will go to the VHS Wrestling Team. The clinic will take place July 12 through 16, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The coaching will be provided by Lee MacDiarmid with help from James Brookins and visits from some VHS wrestling team members.
