More than 22,000
people at the Fair
The 2003 Columbia County
Fair & Rodeo was the “Best
Stop on the Trail” for over
22,000 people who attended
July 16 through 20. Attendance
was down from last year, which
may have been the result of
both a record heat wave and
the economy, but overall, the
fair was a success.
The number of exhibitors
was up, for a total of 4,645 4-H
and Open Class exhibits.
Eleven Champion Ribbons, 12
Reserve Champion Ribbons
and 1,056 Blue Ribbons were
awarded in Open Class.
