W e would like to tha nk the G olden O ldies for playing during the a f ternoon for eve ryo n e ’s e n jo y ment. T h ank you to all that stopped by to visit the m useum and fo r th e d o n a tio n s . W e would like to thank the county for the $500 to help us get sta rt ed on preservation of ou r p h o tos at the m useum . E x p lo rin g !” s c ie n c e , history, m usic, to com e are the topics of M em orial C em etery you would have seen carefully groom ed grounds, a beautiful avenue of flags, a new ly placed granite m o n u m e n t an d c e re m o n ie s that w ere second to none. If you w ere at the Pioneer C em etery you w ould have seen ca re d -fo r grounds, a new chain link fence and gate and an a t tra c tiv e new sign. T h e new fence replaced fencing tha t had been there 100 years. M ost of these w orks and im provem ents w ere done with d o nations and volu ntee r help. The C em etery B eautification C om m ittee is having a raffle of tw o 16-inch c o lle c to r dolls. Tickets are $1.00 each or six for $5.00, and will be on sale July 18 and 19 and July 25 and 26 at U.S. B ank and S entry Market. All m onies w ill be used to m ake m ore ce m e te ry im p ro v e m e n ts w h e re n e e d e d . W inning tickets w ill be draw n and an nounced at the J a m boree Logging show.
