The INDEPENDENT, December 5, 2002 Page 11 Gay Men’s Chorus slate holiday concert at P acific U niversity Celebrate the diversity of the holiday season on Sunday, De cember 8th, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. with a holiday concert featuring the Portland Gay Men’s Cho rus. The concert will be held at the Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center at Pacific Universi ty. Ring in the season with the Chorus’ performance of French classics and traditional holiday renditions. Panels of the internationally renowned AIDS Memorial Quilt will be available for public view ing. Admission is free with a do nation of a non-perishable food item to benefit the Oregon Food Bank of W ashington County. The Portland Gay M en’s Chorus was formed in 1980 and has won many awards for musical excellence and com munity service. The Chorus is an active partner in the region al arts and produces innovative and passionate programs to varied and expanding audi ences. Pacific University is located at 2043 College Way in Forest Grove, Oregon. The Taylor- Meade Performing Arts Center is located on the east side of campus off Cedar Street (head ing north from Pacific Av- enue/Highway 8).
