Vernonia Cares needs turkeys and hams
Vernonia Cares Food Bank
is seeking 150 hams or frozen
turkeys for the Christmas holi
day food baskets. Last year,
the Vernonia Cares Food Bank
(with the assistance of the Ver
nonia Catholic Church, the Sal
vation Army and many busi
ness and private contributors)
provided food boxes for a
Christmas meal for 95 pre-reg
istered families. This year, the
estimation, based on elevating
statistics, has increased to 150.

who bring food directly to the
food bank. Simply request a re
ceipt when the food is dropped
