DUTIES: Supervise inspection staff (2-
5 people). Act as statutory Building Of
ficial. Plan, coordinate and perform in-
spection/enforcement programs (build
ing, plumbing, mechanical, sanitation
and electrical codes).
QUALIFICATIONS: BA/S degree plus
6 yrs. exp in bldg inspection, code ad-
min/enforce w/at least 2 yrs as a St.
Bldg. Inspector w/supervisory exp or
10 yrs in construction with supervisory
exp.
REQUIREMENTS: Certification as OR
Building Official w/at least 1 OR A lev
el inspector (structural, mechanical,
plumbing or plans examiner); all C lev
el CABO certifications. Must possess
valid driver’s license. Preference will
be given for add’l A level certifications
and for 1/2 Family Dwelling Plumbing
and/or Electrical Inspector certification.
SALARY: $3445-$4396; DOE. Add’l
pay for each A level cert held/obtained
above minimum up to $430/month. Ex

listed on the DHS notification
letter.
Households not submitting
the DHS letter may complete a
confidential application for free
or reduced-price meals which
will be reviewed by a school of
ficial to determine eligibility. Ap

anytime during the year. For
