Banks planners look at graphics for fencing regs
The Banks Planning Com
mission met July 30 to consider
illustrations that have been in
tegrated into the new fencing
ordinance, which the commis
sion has been working on for
several months. The planning
commission will review the or-
dinance one more time, at their
August meeting, then present it
to city council in September.
Commissioners also heard a
report from City Planner K.J.

odic review. The city has re

Doherty Ford plans benefit car show
The first annual Doherty
Ford Car Show will be held Au
gust 25 .from 10:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m., at Doherty Ford,
4223 Pacific Ave., Forest Grove.
Registration will be from
8:00 to 9:30 a.m. Registration
fee is $12 per vehicle after Au

Musical celebration
at Garlic Festival
North Plains' Fifth Annual
Elephant Garlic Festival, Au
gust 16-18, will feature a wide
variety of music. Blues, blue
grass, rock, 50s-60 rock, coun
try, honky tonk and more will
entertain festival goers starting
at 3:00 p.m. on the 16th.
