July 19 - Investigation of a ve­
hicle reported as abandoned on
Hwy. 47, revealed two people with
minor injuries and a hit and run in­
vestigation by Vernonia PD.
The driver, Aaron H. Johnston,
20, Bend, was cited for DUII, DWS
and MIP by consumption. Charges
may be pending from VPD regard­
ing hit and run,
The passenger, John H. Grims-
bo, 20, Bend, and driver were re­
leased at St. Johns Hospital.
The vehicle, a 1994 Acura Inte­
gra, was towed by VPD.
