The INDEPENDENT, June 6, 2001 First Business/Organization Expo a great success With gourmet appetizers, cookies and punch by Simply Delicious cater ers, flowers by Buds & Blooms, and musical accompaniment by Made leine’s Music School, the first Vernonia Business and Organization Expo, last Saturday, delighted the senses while introducing the community to many businesses they may not have been familiar with, reminding them of the services offered by other businesses and acquainting them with the oppor tunities for involvement with communi ty organizations. Organized by Vernonia Cares, the eflea.com online flea market first-time event was also a benefit, with registration fees going to help the local emergency food program.
