The Vernonia High School
Principal’s Awards Assembly
was held June 1, in the VHS
gymnasium. Awards in each
subject were handed out, as
well as a few special ones.
The OASSA Honor Team

Randee Parker was stunned by a trophy in her name that
will be awarded yearly to a deserving student on the Memo-
log staff. Teacher Jennifer Calvert presented the award to
Parker.
Clinic set for future cheerleaders
The Vernonia High School
cheerleaders are again holding
summer clinics for young peo
ple ages 5-12. The clinics will
be on Tuesdays starting June
20th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00
p.m., at Anderson Park.
The clinics will continue up
to Jamboree, at which time the
students will participate in the
Jamboree parade with the
cheerleaders. Cost for the clin
ic is $5 per person, with family
rates available.
