Classes are available for all ages and experience levels. Class tim es and dates vary during evenings, w eekends and daytime. “The com puter classes pro vide the com m unity an oppor tunity to learn about their new C hristm as com puters, fulfill New Year’s resolutions or to fi nally catch up with their kid’s co m p u te r kno w le dg e,” said Stacy Garrett, Education Man ager for Colum bia Technology Center. New classes include Intro duction to Excel 97, Introduc tion to W ord 97, Help with Help, Office 97 for Kids, Inter Quality, Comfort and Convenience brought back for m ore ad vanced database design. “We are working to fulfill the needs of all different user lev els. CTC classes serve stu dents from age eight up to 85+. The classes are paced accord ing to the students, if students require more attention we are happy to accom m odate their needs,” said Garrett. Prices fo r the com puter classes vary from $10 up to $60. There is a discount for students, seniors (55+) and un employed attendees. A light seems to turn on during the classes because they are now seeing som e ways to use the tool they have sitting on their desks, dining room table or com puter lab,” said Garrett.
