The INDEPENDENT, APril 1,1998 Windows 98 topic for Users Group Aids Prevention Team seeks input from others in Columbia County If you are concerned about AIDS and HIV, you have the opportunity to be involved in the C olum bia C ounty AIDS Prevention Team local planning process. Annually, each O regon county selects a group of resi dents to review the county’s plan for providing HIV services, and make sure citizens’ needs are met. The AIDS Prevention Forest Grove Vac & Sew Start 1998 right w ith a EUREKA EQWERUNE Team provides the core group for the planning process, but is looking to hear from others, particularly those who are at risk of HIV infection or who have HIV or AIDS. The next meeting is sched uled for W ednesday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m., in the Columbia Tech nology Center Auditorium in St. Helens. Anyone who wants to partic ipate in the planning process is welcome to attend. Others who wish to make w ritten com ments but cannot atttend may call the AIDS Prevention Team office at 366-2839 to request a copy of the 1996-97 plan.
