Planning gets underway for 1998 Vernonia Friendship Jamboree
The 1998 Vernonia Friend­
ship Jamboree Committee will
meet tomorrow night, Jan 22,
in the Washington Grade
School library at 7:00 p.m.
Heading the committee this
year is the executive commit­
tee of President Treasa

The Board authorized the
following overnight field trips:
skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows
for the International Club in
January, the Ashland Shake­
speare Festival for Drama and
Honors English students in
March, a concert trip to The
Dalles for Band students in
March and, in April, the Univer­
sity of Oregon Foreign Lan­
guage and Study Day for
French and German students.
