in the United States Air Force
with the rank of captain.
Parrow enlisted in the U.S.
Air Force following graduation
from Oregon State College in
Monmouth, where she ma
jored in secondary/physical
education. She received her
basic training at Lackland Air
Force Base and w e athe r
training at Chanute Air Force
Base.

sioned officer until 1983 when
she was commissioned as a
second lieutenant. In 1987

Hal, of Fame.
Parrow plans to resum e
her academic pursuits at the
University of Massachusetts
to obtain her masters degree
in education, then to a sec
ond career in education and
coaching.
