Brian Anderson received the James T. Johns Award, fo r the stu d e n t w ho has shown the most improvement and growth from seventh to eighth grades. Justin Ward and Jennifer Young were each awarded the Paul A. Gordon Memorial Trophy, which goes to one eighth grade boy and one eighth grade gir, each year, based on academic achieve ment, attitude, participation, leadership and citizenship. Tarah Pond and P eter Schmidlin were named Out standing Scholars, as the stu dents w ith hig h e st g ra d e point average throughout the school, at the end of the third qu arte r. Pond was in the eighth and Schmidlin was in the seventh grade.
