Travis Todd, 49, was sent to a Portland-area hos- pital after being allegedly assaulted near the intersec- tion of Avenue K and South Columbia Street on March 30. An autopsy will be per- formed in the next couple of days. The investigation is ongoing. Offi cials are still seeking information from anyone who spent time with Todd the evening of March 29 or during the early morn- ing hours of March 30. Dol- phin, Warrenton: Civilian came into police headquarters to turn in a found cellphone. Po- lice contact Seaside police to determine they had no report. Phone logged into evidence for safekeeping. April 6 9:04 a.m., Clatsop: Police re- spond to a report of a male attempting to hike to the sum- mit of Saddle Mountain during inclement weather. Police say he was inadequately dressed. At the two mile point, he was overcome by cold and exhaus- tion and refused to go up or down, requiring assistance. Hamlet Fire, Medix, a Clatsop County Deputy, and an OSP of- fi cer responded. The man was given food and blankets and ultimately walked down the mountain, where he was trans- ported to Seaside Providence for treatment. 5:27 p.m., Highway 26 and Wolf Creek: The driver of a black Jeep was stopped at MP 26 during heavy spring break traffi c, pulled over for reckless driving. The driver, Terrance Forrest Mancia, 43 of Hillsboro, was also cited for failure to car- ry proof of insurance and vio- lation of basic Oregon driving rules.
