Search still on for shooting suspects By Jack Heffernan EO Media Group Authorities are still look- ing for suspects in a robbery and shooting that occurred in Seaside early Sunday, Nov. 12, but believe it was an iso- lated incident. A 36-year-old Washing- ton state man was taken to Columbia Memorial Hospi- tal following the incident in- side a room at the Beachside Inn at about 2 a.m. He was then flown to a Portland-area hospital, where his condition has since been upgraded. “Police believe the victim and suspects had made con- tact prior to the robbery and shooting and this was not a random act,” according to a Seaside police press release. Because the investiga- tion is ongoing and they do not believe the suspects are a threat to the community, police have not disclosed the names of those involved.
